Kamagra

Kamagra is a medication used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The main compound in this medication is sildenafil citrate. This is also the main compound found in Viagra. Kamagra provides the same efficacy in the treatment of impotence as Viagra, without the hefty price tag.

Kamagra is only meant to be used when the person is already sufficiently sexually stimulated, and cannot generate an erection on its own. It is also not meant to be used as protection against HIV/AIDS, and other STDs.

This medication is available in the form of a blue diamond shaped pill. It has to be taken orally, and works best when ingested with water on an empty stomach. Kamagra quickly absorbs into the blood stream, usually between 30 and 60 minutes after ingestion.

The sildenafil citrate in Kamagra is a phosphodiesterase inhibitor. This compound causes a restriction in the function of an enzyme found in the penis called phosphodiesterase type (PDE5). The restrictions on the enzyme activity allow the muscle of the penis to relax for a long period of time, and this allows a heavy flow of blood into the penile tissue. The result is an erection that can be expected to last for the duration of sexual activity.

The only thing necessary for Kamagra to work is a state of sufficient sexual excitement.

Kamagra must be taken only after consulting a physician. This medication is available in pills of 25mg, 50mg and 100mg dosage. Your doctor will decide on the right dosage for you. If you don't notice any positive effects with your first Kamagra pill, report this to your physician who may increase the dosage. Take the pill at least one hour before you begin sexually activity. Avoid taking Kamagra along with a meal that is rich in fats, because it can impact the efficacy of the drug. The medication must be taken once in 24 hours with no more than a 100 mg total dosage in a single day.

Most of the side effects seen with Kamagra are the result of over dosage. Once you are able to reduce the dosage, you will find that the side effects disappear on their own. Common side effects are
  • Gastro intestinal problems and diarrhea.
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Flushing
  • Vision changes, which include extreme light sensitivity, problems discriminating among colors, and blurred vision.
  • Allergies that may take the form of hives, rashes, itching, dizziness and breathing difficulties.

People who suffer from hypertension, kidney or liver problems, heart disease, or are allergic to sildenafil citrate must seek medical opinion before taking this medication. Additionally, those who suffer from blood conditions like sickle cell anemia or leukemia, peyronies or retinitis pigmentose, are also required to consult their physician before taking this drug.

Kamagra must be stored at room temperature away from sunlight and heat.

Kamagra must be avoided in patients who are already on other medications that contain nitrates. Medications like isosorbide mononitrate, nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, and amyl nitrate contain nitrates. You can also find these compounds in ointments, sprays or patches that contain nitroglycerin. Patients who suffer from heart disease, stroke, untreated diabetes, low blood pressure, angina or hypertension must only take Kamagra after consulting their doctor because the drugs used to treat these conditions can interact with sildenafil citrate.

Additionally, the elderly must exercise caution before taking Kamagra because of their susceptibility to the side effects of the drug. Also, avoid taking this pill along with alcohol. Kamagra is not recommended for women.
